Overall I would say I am a keen health & fitness fan. Once upon a time (before kids), I was forever in the gym, however I would often follow a gym trip with a visit to Sainsburys to stock up with their entire confectionary aisle. Needless to say, I was forever hoping for impossible results. After all, you’re never going to get a six-pack doing a few squats followed by scoffing 10 Dairy Milks.

Now I’m a mum, I tend to look for quick workouts that can be done at home. I’m still a member of the gym, however I’m ashamed to admit that I use it more for the soft play than the training equipment.

I also try and eat as healthily as possible, however, I take the good days with the bad so on the days when I’ve eaten 20,000 calories, I’ll try my best to get back on the Avocado bandwagon the next day and not to feel guilty about it.

I’m one of those people that is always striving for perfection, as I’ve grown older, I’ve tried to come to terms with the fact that I’m not perfect, but neither is anybody else. The people you often admire have their own insecurities so it’s all about trying to be the happiest version of yourself.

My aim has always been to eat healthily, exercise and get enough sleep, but when you’re a mum of 2 under 2, sleep is virtually non-existent and I LOVE WINE, CHOCOLATE AND CAKES (did I already mention that?)

Due to all of the above, I’m forever trying new health and fitness regimes, so I will be sharing the latest online trends plus workout tips that are easy to follow for busy mums.
