Okay, so I’ve been shouting this from the roof tops, and posting stories and pictures all over my Instagram, BUT, if you didn’t already know, I RECENTLY WENT ON A GIRLS TRIP TO DUBAI. Look at me, child-free! Woooo bloody hooooo. To say we had the time of our lives would be an understatement.
If you’re after culture and what to do in general, then I will be following up soon with my “Top 10 things to do in Dubai” so keep your eyes peeled.
For this particular trip, our main aim was to hit as many pool parties as we could and make the most of our child-free holiday which meant; sand, sea, sun and BOOZE.
So…..You’re on a girls trip to Dubai, the sun is shining and you want to head to where the tunes are pumping and the party is ON. Where do you go?
Pretty much every day, there’s a ladies day happening somewhere in Dubai, so I’m going to give you the low down on some of my favourites:
TOP 5 LADIES DAY POOL PARTY VENUES IN DUBAI
1) BARASTI BEACH BAR – LADIES DAY
EVERY SUNDAY, MONDAY AND TUESDAY – AQUARIUS LADIES DAY – FREE ENTRY – 10AM TO 10PM
It’s FREE entry, all girls receive free-flowing frozen rosé grape, towels for the sunbeds are free and 50% off food and beverages menu plus 50% off water sports!
CONFESSION: We didn’t quite make Barasti on this trip since we landed at 6am on the Monday and were rather knackered, however I’ve been before and absolutely love it. It is one of the city’s most vibrant bars, with vast outdoor seating and Dubai’s best live sport big screen. It’s fabulous to party by day and by night.
2) ZERO GRAVITY – LADIES DAY
EVERY TUESDAY – FREE POOL & BEACH ACCESS FOR LADIES – 9AM – 7PM
Every Tuesday, Zero Gravity offers complimentary pool and beach access to all ladies, all day long.
ABOUT: This place is awesome and is frequented by the likes of A Listers such as Justin Bieber. Zero Gravity describes itself as a day to night Oasis and it certainly is that; huge cabanas surround the pool which is situated right on the beach. The party really starts to get going mid-afternoon, but you will want to turn up at 11am (ish) to ensure you get a prime lounging position. As with all the ladies days, the later you arrive, the busier the venue.
Alternative ladies days to check out on a Tuesday:
3) COVE BEACH, CAESARS PALACE – LADIES DAY
ROSE ALL DAY – WEDNESDAY 12PM – 5PM – AED 100 (ROUGHLY £20)
Ladies can enjoy the 3 large sparkling pools and the magnificent beach while sipping on unlimited Rose and dancing to music.
What’s included: unlimited Rose and house beverages, 1 platter of lunch food from the buffet. Complimentary sun bed.
Sip, Sip, Rosaayy!!
ABOUT: Jet-setters, celebrities and Dubai locals flock to Cove Beach to soak up the Arabian sun on luxurious day beds. This place is seriously impressive with lots of different areas to mooch around. We saw loads of groups of girls having the time of their lives and as with most luxury venues in Dubai; there were some celebs present too.
4) FIVE PALM JUMEIRAH – LADIES DAY
EVERY THURSDAY – 12PM – 4PM – AED 149 (ROUGHLY £30).
Unlimited cocktails and Sangria, plus 2 course menu for 149 AED
Organised/Hosted by: Secret Parties at Praia, FIVE Palm Jumeirah, the Dhs149 deal runs from noon to 4pm. Ladies can take advantage of access to the oh-so-Instagrammable infinity pool at the hotel, as well as four hours of unlimited cocktails and sangria.
But it’s not just drinks included in the package – a two-course a la carte lunch is also provided.
ABOUT: I absolutely love this venue, this was my third visit in a few months (we went twice during my November trip). Dubbed the hottest hotel on Palm Jumeirah, FIVE Palm Jumeirah is a dare-to-be-different hotel that captures the glamour and vibe of Dubai. Set against a breathtaking backdrop of the beach and Dubai Marina skyline, this is really the place to party in pure luxury. Celebrities flock to this venue and I’m yet to visit without spotting one. This is the perfect place to visit for a girls trip to Dubai.
SLOAFER: How amazing are these shoes?
They’re a ballet pump/trainer hybrid or as Sloafer themselves state these shoes have the ‘Heart of a ballerina, sole of a sneaker”.
They are perfect for all occasions and I’m pretty much living in mine now.
My pair were kindly gifted to me, but I’m most definitely going to be purchasing more. They are 100% my favourite gifted item yet and you can currently get your hands on a pair with a fantastic 15% discount by using code exhausted15 at the checkout 😉
You can check out their range here. Happy Shopping.
5) POOL PARTY BRUNCH AT W HOTEL
Palm Sugar Brunch every Friday at the Wet Deck, W Hotel. I can’t remember the exact cost but I think it was around AED 300 (roughly £60).
The buffet stretches along the length of the poolside, brimming with a HUGE variety of culinary delight stations; sushi, lamb chops, beef brisket, colourful burgers, tender ribs, super-stretched hot dogs, nachos, plus a dessert’s station with candy, cakes and pretzels. Drinks include large jars of refreshing fruity cocktails, Prosecco, wine and basically whatever the hell you fancy.
ABOUT: A brand new hotel with a seriously impressive luxury interior. No expense has been spared. This place really has the wow factor. Gold walls adorn the exterior entrance which is littered with jaw-droppingly expensive motors.
The exterior is also rather impressive with everything feeling rather new and shiny. There were lots of little extra touches such as hessian branded bags with water provided on all sunbeds, plus the day we visited there was free glitter face painting which meant everyone was shining and ready to party in the pool. The main pool has a busy bar at its centre, but there were also loads of other stations you could get drinks from. If you want to combine the best of food with the best of partying, then Friday brunch at the W is for you.
Friday is the day for partying at one of the many brunch options in Dubai.
For a more traditional Dubai brunch, you may want to check out some of these options:
All the Dubai brunches are a fun boozy day out but all have a different vibe with different cuisines so do your research and make a reservation before you rock up.
As you can see, we partied and played a little too hard. As well as the pool parties, we also went out pretty much every night and it honestly felt like we were back in Uni with 2am McDonalds drive-through stops and lots of drunken antics. I came back a little bit broken from lack of sleep and so much booze but as the old saying goes….”A little party never killed nobody”.
Would I recommend Dubai as a destination for a girls trip? Do I need to respond? Abso-fricking-lutely.
It’s only a 6.5 hour flight from London and you’re guaranteed the sunny weather. It has something to offer for everyone. There’s loads to do for families and singletons alike.
So….if you’re looking for a destination for your next holiday, then I’d highly recommend Dubai.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this blog post. Have you been to Dubai? Are you a lover or a hater? If you have been, what other venues would you add to this list?
As always, thanks for reading this post and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
